So far, Kansas has been pretty much one big box mall after another, in the built up suburban area around Kansas City. Now I have a better map that shows all of the small roads, so as I head off for Wichita by a meandering route today, things should be more interesting. This old theater (closed but nicely painted) is in Shawnee.
