Woodstock, Vt has tiny little mailboxes on posts here & there in the residential sections of town. No ugly silver metal apartment type units here! In Burlington, the postmaster won't even let residents scrub the spray paint tags off without special, individual permission. Bernice, one of my neighbors, hassled the postmaster until she got permission, but she has a hard time keeping up, even on our little two-block street.
