Marc & I once stayed in a Star Motel in Alamogordo, NM that we use as a comparison for every other low-rent road motel we might see (or choose to stay in). I'm always on the lookout for Star Motels, or even motels with stars, wherever I go. This Vacation Motor Hotel had possibilities, but the "Now Open" sign in the window was just a tease - it hadn't been open in a while.

Vacation Star
