Birdwood is an old estate owned by the University of Virginia, not currently used for much of anything. Eventually it will become a "Center for Politics", and part of it is a fancy golf course, but the main house and outbuildings are empty for the moment. It is a pleasant place for a spring walk, especially when it was still snowing back in Vermont.

Birdland Blossoms
